Fanfics and Brexit

blue_mouseFsoV was originally written in the fall of 2018, which is the context when characters in the story reference Brexit and the state of the U.S.
After finishing the story, I left it alone for a few months.
Around February 2019, the impending Brexit development may (or may not) have caused me to say, “I'm not sure what's happening with the UK, but maybe I should edit and post that fanfic before the Brexit references in it become completely outdated.”
(PS It's the end of March 2019 right now. IDK how much the opinion of an American citizen means to anyone, but I really hope y'all in the UK don't do Brexit.)
